Connecting batteries in parallel is commonly used in golf car and RV applications. The total cold cranking amp (CCA) and reserve capacity (RC) changes to the sum of all the batteries connected in parallel.

To connect batteries in parallel, use a proper battery cabling system and:

  • Connect positive terminal to positive terminal to positive terminal; then
  • Connect negative terminal to negative terminal to negative terminal
