Tri-City Transmission is a family-owned business that was established in Tempe in 1972. The local transmission repair shop has weathered economic storms, witnessed enormous growth in the community and survived relocation due to eminent domain.

The owner of Tri-City Transmission, Dave Riccio, has been in the automotive business for over 20 years. He currently volunteers, and was a former chairperson, of the Better Business Bureau’s Automotive Review Advisory Committee (ARAC).

Riccio is also cohost of Bumper to Bumper Radio, a weekly radio program that educates the public on how to have a better car repair experience.  Bumper to Bumper Radio airs every Saturday morning from 11:00 am-12:00 pm on 92.3 KTAR radio in Phoenix.
