Outdoor Show n’ Shine: The 16th Southwest Nationals is one of the Southwest’s largest gatherings of hot rods & custom cars. With an outdoor show n’ shine of over 3,000 vintage classics through 1972, WestWorld will be landscaped with acres of gleaming, candy-colored cars. Lil’ deuce coupes, hot rod roadsters, lead-sled 50’s Mercury customs, ‘55-’57 Chevy’s, Camaros, Barracuda’s & Mustang Muscle Cars and other timeless beauties will fill the entire outdoor acreage of WestWorld.
Commercial Exhibits/Swap Meet/Car Corral: Commercial and vendor exhibits will fill a large circus-style tent and the areas outside the tent. The Ahwooga.com swap meet and AutoTrader Classics cars-for-sale corral offers unlimited bargain hunting and shopping for rare car parts.
All American Sunday: Held on Sunday, November 17 only, the Goodguys Super Sunday Get-Together is a special event inside the event which welcomes all years, makes and models of American powered cars and trucks to the event. Late model American muscle like the new generation Camaro, Mustang, GTO, Challenger, Charger and more are welcome to show alongside the vintage cars.
Goodguys Top 12: The 12 Winners of the prestigious Goodguys “Top 12” awards for the 2013 event season will be showcased in the Champions Arena all weekend long for all event attendees to see. The Top 12 award winners will be displayed in a special display for all event attendees to see! They are some amazing automotive works of art!
Goodguys AutoCross Shootout Finals presented by BF Goodrich: The Goodguys AutoCross shootout Finals will be held in Scottsdale and will feature a 24 car field made up of 11 finalists from the yearlong shootout, 9 PRO Class drivers, as well as four entrants who “race their way” into the Finals. Those final four slots will be filled by the fastest cars on track on Friday, November 15. The Goodguys AutoCross Finals Shootout winner will receive $3,000 in cash, along with a Goodguys AutoCross theme custom toolbox from Snap-on (valued at $7,000) and a set of BF Goodrich tires. IN addition the Shootout winner will be honored with a selection as one of the “Goodguys Top 12 Cars of the Year.” The runner up will receive $1,250 in cash along with a set of BF Goodrich tires, and the 3rd and 4th place finishers will be $500 and $250 respectively, along with a set of BF Goodrich tires.
Model Car Show: On Saturday, Revell Monogram will be sponsoring the Model Car Make n’ Take at 1 pm. Model car kits will be available for the kids to build the kits and take them home. A full scale model car show will also be featured.
Awards Ceremony: The culmination of the weekend will be Sunday’s official awards ceremony which takes place at 2:22pm. It’s a great way to see the best of the best!
